Description of the business
"Accommodations in the most beautiful home on Prince Edward
Island," a quote from a guest who has relocated from Vancouver
to his birthplace, the province of PEI.
On the southern shore, near Charlottetown, century linden trees
tower majestically over the estate lawns of this Queen Anne Victorian
mansion. This is the historic property which hosted Lucy Maud Montgomery
for her reception of visiting European royalty. In an elegant Double
Dutch Gambrel country style, the eight bedroom home is lovingly
referenced in several novels written of the island. The pastoral
region offers astounding beauty in its magnificent hilltop setting.
The home remains essentially original. BLACK FOX MANOR shares the
privileged experience of this home, offering relaxing rooms in a
broad range of prices providing excellent value. Guests enjoy a
full breakfast in the formal dining room. Fine dining options are
available within the scenic twenty minute drive into Charlottetown.
A deluxe camping option is available.
Special occasions and events: One of
your hosts is a celebrated designer/event planner from the San Francisco-Napa
Valley Wine Country. From a casual romantic interlude to a sumptuous
grand scale wedding or from a business meeting to a corporate retreat,
our in-house complimentary design and planning service is available
to assist you.
